Hint

In addition to the sponsors ' award for innovation and quality improvement in teaching, which promotes the testing and implementation of new concepts for university teaching and the further development and transfer of existing concepts, the teaching award for young academics, which is also advertised, marks another point in the university management's strategy of focussing on outstanding teaching. The aim of the Teaching Award for Young Academics is to recognise teaching concepts and methods of an outstanding and exemplary nature. The award also recognises achievements in teaching that are based on traditional and proven forms of teaching and are characterised by their outstanding quality. The award is intended to highlight the special importance of university teaching for the training of young academics and to create a career incentive to get involved in and for university teaching.
