Girls' Day

Paderborn University regularly takes part in the Girls' Future Day organised throughout Germany. On Girls' Day, schoolgirls are given an insight into technology-oriented and scientific degree programmes at Paderborn University. They learn about professional fields in which women have been less represented to date. The "Women Shaping the Information Society" project is once again organising an offer this year in which aspects of various natural science and engineering subjects at Paderborn University will be presented. Pupils in years 7-8 have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the individual subject areas and to set the course for an interest-orientated choice of studies and career.
