Executive Board
The Executive Board manages Paderborn University. It consists of the President, three Vice Presidents and two Vice Presidents with different areas of responsibility. In addition to the President, the Vice-President for Business and Human Resources is a full-time employee. Together with the other governing bodies, the Executive Board is responsible for the organisation and further development of research and teaching at Paderborn University. The current Executive Board took office on 1 April 2025.
A special feature of Paderborn is the close involvement of the faculties: the Executive Board and deans form the extended university management in the Consilium decanale and meet regularly once a month.
