For its annual meeting, the NEPTUN research group visited PI Ceramic GmbH in Lederhose (Thuringia), a manufacturer of piezoelectric ceramics and components for a wide range of applications. In addition to reports on past and upcoming results from the group's sub-projects, the meeting included a tour of the company, which gave the participants an insight into the complex manufacturing process of piezoelectric ceramics. The members of the research group would like to thank PI Ceramic for their hospitality.
The next annual meeting of the research group will be held as part of the 2025 International Congress on Ultrasonics in Paderborn, Germany (2025icu.org).
