The Arburg Freeformer is an additive manufacturing machine that was developed by Arburg. It uses standard polymer granaulate as raw material to produce polymer parts. The DMRC is one of a few research institutes that owns a Freeformer. In June some researchers of the DMRC were in Losburg at Arburg and got a machine specific training. After that the DMRC is glad to announce that the Freeformer was successfully put into operation.
