The Paderborn located team "Pele-Force" participated in the OWL and NRW-Cup for the competition "Formula 1 in Schools". The purpose of this competition is to strengthen the technical education of students and encouraging the interest in technology. The team from the Paderborn Pelizaeus-Gymnasium is sponsored by the DMRC.
Since February 1st, 2016 the companies centroplast and Schwarz are new Tier 3 members at the DMRC. The DMRC is happy to welcome the companies as new industry partners.

This year, our colleague Andre Riemer has been awarded with the “Prize of the presidium for excellent PhD thesis”. The prize is endowed with �2500 and was received at the annual New Year's reception of the Paderborn University on January 17th. Mr. Riemer's work represents his research on the effects of material, processing parameters and heat treatment on the fracture mechanical behavior of metallic parts manufactured by Laser Melting.…
