The Summer School "Responsible Digitalisation: AI, Social Media and their Contribution to a Sustainable Society" examines the transformative effects of artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalisation on education, society and the economy. Topics include the integration of AI in language teaching, the ethical dimensions of responsible digitalisation and the use of AI tools in research and education. Participants will look at the opportunities and challenges of generative AI in customer relationships and its social responsibility. Other sessions will address the complexity of explainable AI, the environmental and social consequences of digitalisation and strategies for identifying biased or AI-generated content. The programme will also address the role of AI in social inequality and its broader societal impact.
