Peer Coach­ings "Start­ing Your PhD"

In the initial phase of their doctorate, many doctoral candidates feel that they are all alone with a wide range of interdisciplinary issues. In peer coaching, doctoral candidates come together in small groups in the first year of their doctorate and can exchange views on topics that are currently on their minds and work out solutions together.

In the peer coaching programme ‘Doing Your PhD in Germany’, international doctoral candidates come together in small groups of four to six people to discuss current challenges they are facing in their academic or professional lives as international researchers at Paderborn University.
